Hoby with Rotherby Parish Council (including Ragdale and Brooksby) supports the four communities in the parish. We endeavour to make Hoby, Rotherby, Ragdale and Brooksby a better place to live, work and visit.

The Parish Council meets six times a year at Hoby and District Village Hall starting at 7.30pm and all Parishioners are welcome to attend and view proceedings. Agendas are posted on Parish notice boards prior to each meeting and these with the minutes of previous meetings, can also be found on this website.

Character Assessment for Neighbourhood Development Plan

Character Assessment for Neighbourhood Development Plan

This Character Assessment (attached) is part of the Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) process, recently signed off and warmly received by the NDP Working Group, who with their consultants have been working on the production of this document since the beginning of this year

It is a key report of the NDP process and gives a reflection of the civil parish and the communities in it. It gives an assessment of our villages and their fabric, their setting and local environment, the important views and in many beautiful pictures visually shares with those who look at this report, telling our story of place at this particular time in our history. It will be used for the identification of policies for our emerging NDP as it enters into the final period of its compilation.

The NDP Working Group commend this Character Assessment to all who sign on to look at it.
